Day 1
Day 2

Day 1: Travel to Barshaini via Kasol | Start Guided trek to Tosh- Your Tosh trek will start from Barshaini, so you will need to travel approximately 22 KM from Kasol to reach the town - On reaching Barshaini, you will be welcomed by your experienced trek guide who will inform you about some do’s and don’ts - Next, you will be starting your adventurous Tosh trek from Kasol and trek for around 2.5 km to reach the spectacular Tosh waterfalls.- Enjoy your scenic trek and feel enchanting drinking in the beauty of mother nature surrounding you.- Return back to camp for the night and relish a delicious dinner at the camp.- Delight in having a bonfire in the midst of loft mountains and enjoy the serene ambience of the place which blends well with the sound of people speaking and music playing- Spend the night in the Dome tents on sharing basis

Day 2: Return Trek back to Barshaini

  • Begin your 2nd day of Tosh valley trek by looking at the stunning view of the sun rising in the mountains.
  • Refresh and enjoy a sumptuous breakfast and prepare for your descending trek to reach Barshaini.
  • Reach Barshaini with the help of your guide, and say goodbye to your fellow trekkers and guide to be on your return journey.
  • Take local transport to reach the beautiful hill station Kasol.

What to Pack for Tosh Trek?

Mandatory Documents:

  • Original as well as photocopy of any government photo identity card such as Driving License, Aadhar Card, Voters ID, etc. to provide during check-in
  • Passport and Visa need to be provided by International Travelers

Clothes:

  • T-shirts are more comfortable than shirts and dry fast. So wear T-shirts instead.
  • Trek Pants will be more comfortable during the trek than jeans or trousers.
  • Jackets to protect you against chilly weather.
  • Warm clothing such as fleece or woollen layers for nights.
  • Thermals to keep you warm at night.
  • Headcover such as a cap or balaclava to protect your head during the trek

  • Personal medical kit with items such as prescribed medicines and common ones for altitude sickness, pain relief, headache, fever, stomach problems, motion sickness, allergies, diarrhea, etc. Also an antiseptic cream, a pain relief spray, bandage and cotton for cuts.
  • Personal toiletry items such as toothpaste, toothbrush, toilet paper, sanitiser etc. Carry sunscreen to protect your skin.
  • Water bottle to refill with water to hydrate yourself during the trek.

The starting point of your Tosh trek is Barshaini which is located at a distance of 22 km from Kasol. You can travel by car and reach Barshaini in 15 minutes. To reach Kasol, there are several ways:

By Air: The nearest airport to Kasol is the Kullu-Manali airport, also known as Bhuntar Airport. The airport receives two flights daily from Delhi. Flights are also available from other major cities of India but take a long time. From the airport, you can travel 31 km to reach Kasol in an hour.

By Road: Kasol has good road communications and is well connected by NH 3. You can take a bus or cab from Delhi to reach Kasol in 11 to 12 hours.

By Train: Kasol has no railway station of its own. The nearest railway station is Joginder Nagar railway station which is located at a distance of 144 km from Kasol. You can take a cab or a bus from the Joginder Nagar Bus Stand to reach Kasol in 4.5 to 5 hours.

Tosh valley trek is an easy trek which starts from Barshaini and continues for 2.5 km to reach Tosh Waterfalls. There is no other route for this trek.
