It is popularly referred to as the “Way to Heaven” for its spectacular natural beauty as well as the ancient association.

Set out on the mind blowing Swargarohini Trek from Mana along a picturesque trail that takes you through the famous Vasudhara followed by a glacier crossing named “Dhano.” You will also pass through a thick jungle known as the Laxmi Van as well as a series of caves which have several sages as their permanent residents. One of the most awe inspiring features of the trek is the legendary Satopanth Lake that is also considered holy by many Hindu devotees who visit here. The 13-day long trek is a challenging one, yet attracts multitudes of trekkers not only for its exceptional beauty but also for its spiritual significance.

Haridwar Railway Station to Joshmath (257 km/6152 feet)

  • You will get picked up from the Haridwar Railway Station early in the morning, for your journey.

  • Start your scenic ride on a taxi all the way to your base camp at Joshmath Village which is about 257 km away.

  • The 11 hour drive will take you along the beautiful Alaknanda and Bhagirathi RiversAt the base camp go for a short walk in the nearby areas and then rest for the night.
