You have to first reach Leh from where you will be driven to your base camp. There are several ways to reach Leh:

  • By AirThe easiest option to reach Leh is to take a flight to Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport which is only 4 km from the main city. It is well connected with Delhi as well as other cities across the country like Mumbai, Kolkata, Jammu, Chandigarh, among others. Once at the airport you can take a taxi from here to your destination.

  • By RoadYou can reach Leh via two road routes- Manali to Leh via Baralacha La, Lachulung La, and Tanglang La which is about 500 km or Srinagar to Leh via Zoji La, Lamayuru Lunar Landscape, and Kargil which is about 450 km.
