It is a wonderful place to visit. I have done the trek to Valley of Flowers right after the monsoon in 2017 because people have told me that there will be landslides during heavy rain. I went with my friends and we visited so many beautiful places and towns apart from the valley. There were not just flowers but different fauna and forest ranges near the valley. We spotted some animals like deer, sheep etc. Our guide told that some time we can see black bear and snow leopards too. We have reached the height about 3352 to 3368 meters I guess and the view from the top was mind blowing. We saw some rare birds also here because some of them are accustomed to the high altitudes. A lot of mountaineers were also at the valley observing the flowers. We cannot stay there but have to stay at Ganghria. Our team was a nice one, especially the guide. He was an experienced one as the hotels and restaurants were so familiar for him and the staff had a good relation with us.

This is a must visit place and I have recommended it to all my friends who are real nature lovers. Valley of Flowers National Park is an expansive field with more than 70 species of blooming flowers in it making it look so beautiful from all sides. But only if you visit after monsoon or till July end, you will be able to witness the exotic beauty of all the flowers together. I went with my cousin brother as both of us are really interested in nature. When we went it was the starting of blooming around May end. Hence, the multi coloured flowers were less. Apart from flowers, you can see the area is inhabited by rare animals like Asiatic black bear, musk deer and others. I would like to spend my whole life there and that how the beauty is preserved here.

One-of-a-kind trip was this Valley of Flowers trek happened in 2017, June. It was raining well when we went for this trek and the valley started blooming and different colours were margining the valleys in a beautiful way. I think this is the best part in Uttarakhand during rainy season. We were a group of 12 people of friends from college and we were doing the trek immediately after our college days were over. The starting point was Govindghat, 26 kilometers from Joshimathi. You will get taxi from Joshimath to reach the point. Ganghria is the base point of the trek where you will see the Pushpavati waterway and that is a good place to get fresh air and natural beauty. At the Valley of Flowers, the climate was awesome and it was raining many times there. We got a nice service from the tour operator as well. Thanks to the team.

I along with my uncle went on this trekking expedition in Himalayas. We arrived at Joshimath on our first day, it was a very beautiful day. Just had the best team with me when I went for the trek. Our guide was was just amazing, sweet, funny and respectful. We passed through many small villages and camped at the Panchayat ghar. It was our best nigh there, we even chatted with the Local people, they were great people to heard lot of local stories. We passed through dense forest and saw the Dronagiri Village which was now inhabitated. We enjoyed each and every moment of this 8 day trek experience. The trek is bit difficult ,but if you are a beginner than do the trek with experienced trekkers as it becomes challenging at various points. Food and accommodation during the trek was awesome. We also made some new friends and had lot of fun.

Although it was a challenging trek but we had the best time of our life. We were 2 friends who went on this trek. Bright blue skies and vast ranges of mountains always in the view. It was such a beautiful sight with the mountain ranges. We were provided with good food everyday. Roti, sabji, dal was there and sometime we also had some egg dishes. Our guide manish was such a humble person; he was helping us with the trek route all the time and taking care of us. I even remember one incident when one of our trek mates hurt her leg while climbing. He took care of her very well and even band aid her bruise. It was a great trekking adventure for all of us.

We were 8 friends and it was like a dream come true. I was looking for some good packages when I saw this one on Heyhimalayas. I connected with the guys and wanted our tour customized. These guys were really amazing and made all the required changes. We started our trip from Manali and drove through the sights of barren lands of Lahaul and Spiti valley through Rohtang Pass. The trek was a bit challenging one. The peak appears for the first time while crossing a small lake approaching the base camp. We also had another group of 6 that joined us for the trek. We passed through many small streams and dense forest. But the best part of me was when we reached Kibber, we visited the monasteries there and chatted with the shepherds. And the best was the small stone houses which looked very cosy. We took this trek during the month of September 2016. We were provided with tented accommodation, the tents were firm and very spacious. The only problem I had was regarding the toilet facilities. I didn’t find it that hygiene. It was such a beautiful sight when we reached the top. Food during the trip was average. Overall a good experience.

We were 4 girls who went on Bhaba Pass trek. It was one of the best and the most memorable trips for us. I can say that this trek is perfectly fit for girls as well. We started our trek from shimla and enjoyed the long drive through Narkandaand Rampur, Kafnu and Kinnaur. On our second and third day our trek was a moderate one as we trek through the apple orchards and then through the natural bridges. It was so good to meet the local shepherds in their traditional outfits. On our fourth and fifth day we started trekking to Phustirang. After a bit of steep ascending we reached Bhaba Pass. I was stunned by the beauty of the whole region. We took a short halt and then started climbing down towards Spiti. On our sixth and seventh day we trekked to Mudh enjoyed the purple hued mountains. We also saw the Pin river and the small villages. We reached our campsite near Chandratal Lake. Camping under the clear night sky was another great experience for us. The tents were really good and spacious. Our trek leader Shounit arranged a bonfire for us near the lake. It was such a beautiful night, we chatted with our other group members and was planning for the next day. Our next day which was also our last day; we trekked for around 3 hours and reached the road side. Then we drove back to Manali. During our trek we also had some wonderful food. Overall it was a great trek and thanks to the guys of heyhimlayas for making our girls trips trip a memorable one.

Being an avid Trekker i really wanted to do one winter trek. But trekking in winter was difficult from the usual treks as have to walk in snow and freezing cold. But guys, I had the best time while I did this trek. Food and accommodation during the trek was perfect and we did not have the slightest of problem. It was very cold at time. It was such a beautiful sight, the whole mountain was covered in white. The trek consisted of 12 members plus guides and helpers. The trek was very difficult I had a hard time being on the trails thanks to the instructors they helped me a lot in completing. Heyhimalayas guys have done a great job in arranging everything. One of the best adventure for me so far.

I went on this amazing snow trek Kedarkantha along with my son on Jan 2016. I like to remain fit and have done short treks earlier. But this time at 52 I thought to do this trek with him. Our trek was for 6 days and 5 nights. It was a good experience and we also met different people from different places. The trekking in snow, and walking uphill was difficult but was so worth it. Only drawback is that only bsnl gets connected at Sankhri and nothing else. The snow trek to kedarkantha summit is a great attraction in this sanctuary. We spent the most exciting 2 nights and 3 days in the forest camping and trekking. The trek is not very difficult but a certain fitness level is required. I loved the way how our guide Manjit handled everything so well. Food was fantastic, I was surprise how we had roti and chicken here. The rooms provided to us during our stay were also very clean and spacious. The trek was like from easy to moderate. And also wear as much warm clothes as you can as it will be very cold during the night. It was memorable trek with my son and I wanted to remind him I m not getting that old J

Bir Bhangal Trek is one of the nice treks to take in the Kullu Valley. I was looking for some trekking option when my friend suggested me this trek. I went through Heyhimalayas, they will give you the best trip ever. We treked from Manali to Kalihani Pass via Lama Dugh and Riyali Thach which took us through Devi ki Marhi and Dal Marhi to Bara Bhangal. It was an absolute treat for me since I have always been on the lookout for an isolated escape and some stories to add in my travel diary. Although the trek was difficult, but some good company and guide who encouraged us throughout the trek. The rustic countryside will make you fall in love with the place. During this trek we cross over two high mountain passes and come across only one village and rest of the days we walk in the wilderness on high alpine pastures. Over all a great trek.

One of the best and the most memorable trek I ever did, I can’t help thanking these guys from Heyhimalayas for arranging everything so well. We started from Manali and then started trekking through the dense jungles. The climb was a steep one and we could see the Indrasan, Deo Tibba and peaks of Bara Shigri glacier. On our second and third day we trekked through steep ridge below Thanpri Tibba whle enjoying the views of Manali. It was quite a long trek through the meadows and then a steep descent through the stream. We trekked through splendid 360 degree view of hanging glaciers, the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges. During your trek route most of the time you will pass through some pine, deodar and birch forests. Our guide cum trek leader Kunjal was helping us to find the easiest route as he have been to this trek lot of time. The trek was a moderate one with a lot of steep descents. But the best was when we did camping under the clear night sky. The tents provided to us were really good and there were proper toilet facilities as well. Another best thing about the trek was when we explored the nearby villages, the locals were very friendly and helpful. It was a great trip altogether. Thanks to the guys of Heyhimalayas for making our trek a memorable one.

The trek was very well organized. Heyhimalayan guys did a great job in arranging everything so well. Food was average and accommodation was perfect. The only problem we faced was the rain during the trek which made the path a bit slippery. From the trek there are few do’s and don’s I would like to mention.Do's and Donts :-• Be sure to take altitude medicines and also carry water and token food (dark chocolate , garlic )• A good shade, gloves, woolen wear, jacket and thermal is a must carry for you. Also, wear good trekking shoes while you are heading out for the trek.• If you have any back pain than it is better to go to your doctor first and then go for the trek• Water here for toilet use is just ice melted water it is almost freezing so be careful while using.

We also had an amazing guide cum trek leader Tawang who was detailing us about the trekking routes and the places where we can have water. The views are just jaw dropping. We enjoyed the colour of red to orange to golden over the Kanchenjunga at Tumling. The whole Everest range, Kanchenjunga range and the peaks of Bhutan are visible. Good food. Surprised to have chicken curry and roti at very reasonable price. A huge thanks to the guys for making our trip a memorable one.

Last July in 2016 me and my cousins went on kareri. Although there are two routes for the trek, we took the trek route from Kareri Village which was quite an amazing one. There are many uphill and downhill paths with some rocks between the river which we crossed. The route turns into mighty heaven where you get a beautiful cafe to hangout at and a riverside walk to the feels. Accommodation provided to us during the trek was awesome; the tents were very clean and spacious. Food too was really good. I would also advise to carry water bottles with you as you will feel thirsty all the time.

I went on this Kareri trek through trekking platform Heyhimalayas. These guys were really great when I connected and helped me through the booking process. It was hassle free. I went with my friend in December 2016. One must keep at least 3 days for visiting Kareri Lake. It is a beautiful trek with lots of views. Our accommodation during the trek was really great, all the camping grounds had such amazing views. There were few tea stalls where you can have tea and maggi and stock up on other snacks. The hike is not very difficult, and you can relax at many points along the way. We also had an amazing guide with us Rohan who was helping us with all the trekking routes and his interesting trekking stories. He also hired a mule for us at Kareri Village for Rs 500 to carry our extra luggage. I would rate a 5 out of 5 this trek.

Kareri Lake trek happened after 2 year of planning. I and my uncle was looking for some good treks in Himachal when I saw this package online, It was the most wonderful 8 days of our life. We arrived at Pathankot and reached our campsite Salli Base Camp. After our lunch we headed out for a short walk to the Salli Village and Khauli River. On our second and third day we trekked through Handi Forests. It was very beautiful day when we started the trek. We reached Camp 1 by the evening and tried some activities like river crossing and high suspended ropes. On our fourth and fifth day, we trekked through some of the most beautiful sights of the snow covered mountain. The surrounding near Camp 2 was really awesome with the view of Dhauladher Himalayan Range. I could not stop myself from staring at the Kareri Lake and its surroundings. On our sixth and seventh day we returned back from the same route back to Salli. We had very nice accommodation and food during the trek. The tents provided to us were really good and spacious. Food was great and the best part was our evening soup, it was really delicious and hot which was much needed. Also, thanks to Heyhimlayas for making our trip a memorable one and staying connected with us throughout the trek.

I am a great lover of nature and when I got the opportunity to do Chadar Trek, I was more than just happy. The local tour operator who conducts hundreds of trips to the Himalayas was really good and HeyHimlays team did great work from planning to execution. They had the best professional guides who were natives of Ladakh. They took proper care of us and they had the best safety standards. Walking along the frozen river that too on the season is once in a lifetime experience and then the temperature was around -30 degree Celsius. We had to cover around 10-12 kilometers everyday slowly since the paths were tricky. Though it is a trek that testing our stability and stamina, the beautiful sights in the wilderness are worth it.

I have done Chadar Trek in the month of January and the ice cover was getting thickened slowly that time. Hence at some points, it was slippery. We, a group of 4 friends did the trek with the help of HeyHimalays and a well experienced local operator. We got a guide, assistant to him, a chef and porters throughout the trip. There was only one way of commutation for the locals also, the frozen Zanskar River. As we continued trekking, we could see many frozen waterfalls and hot springs. The rock structures which were really tall also had the thick snow cover on them. The temperature was almost -15 degree Celsius and we were used to wearing multiple layers of clothes by then. We had the guidance to walk slowly without exerting so much otherwise we would go breathless. This is really a great trek that can be done by reasonably healthy and fit trekkers.

One of the best trips I ever did in my life is this Roopkund Trek. I was feeling holy while crossing the paths of Nanda Devi Rajjat Yatra. But it was not the season for it though. Started from Kathgodam and the journey to Lohajung was very long and that was the base camp. I stayed in a lodge over there and it was comfortable. I could see the sights of beautiful Nanda Ghunti when I was in my room. The villages on the way were picturesque and full of lush greenery. Ali Bugyal where I stayed with our team was also superb with the mighty Himalayas in the front. We started to climb the peak from here and we saw a temple and the guide told us that it was the temple of Lord Ganesha. Then we continued to our summit camp at Baghuabasa. The area was filled with stones alone and the roads were slippery as I visited the place just after monsoon but there was still slight rain in the evenings. The Roopkund Lake is a must see place I think as it is the real beauty and we can see Mount Trishul and Nanda Ghunti from Junargali. We could see some skeletons and after some time we returned to our campsite. It was a great trip with a lot of nice sights to watch.

I was looking for some good packages when I saw this package on Heyhimlayas. I am glad I booked the package as it turned out to be a great adventure for me. The trek was an easy one and also can be done by beginners. It's very good experience walking up to Triund through the forest. On the way, you see amazing views of McLeodganj, Bhagsu, & Dharamkot. I was very happy seeing wild mushrooms and lichens growing on rotting wood. You also get to enjoy the Himalayas at sunset, at midnight and sunrise, and believe me, each of these is so different and magical in its own way. The view from the top was worth the climb. Food during the trek was mostly Maggi but that too was cooked really well with lots vegetables. Camping tents were also really great and I really had fun with the other team members. One of the most memorable treks for me. I love to travel solo and went on Indrahar Pass trek. I went through Heyhimalayas, a really good place for taking tours. I contacted the guys and they suggested me this package. It was fixed departure and we started on 14th June. Besides trekking, you will also get to explore caves and ample of sightseeing options. The hikes were a bit challenging and prior trekking experience will prove to be a boon if you are planning for this one. There was plenty of snow on the route which made it very difficult as I had to literally climb at places. The trail goes in the Khauli valley and after crossing over from Kareri Lake, it traverses to Bagga, Rawa, Balh , Truind and Laka Got. Food and accmodation provided during the trek was awesome. I also made some new friends from the trek and I am still in touch with some of them and we are planning for another trek soon.

It was such a great trek with lot of fun. We started at around at 07:00 AM in morning from galu temple. Trek is rocky but has beautiful view and reached Triund by 10 AM . Our guide asked us not to waste much time in Triund because we have to make it to Lhasa caves in a single day otherwise the next day trek to Indrahar will get tougher. It was little difficult because of steepness and boulders. Finally crossed Laka galcier ice and reached to Lahesh caves. We found some trekker there who already completed Indrahar previous day and chatted with them for a while and then started moving back. The signal coverage is very poor. You will get the signal only at a particular place only. Our tented accommodation was really great with the views and the surroundings. Food was mainly roti, sabji and dal. Some other days we also had maggi. There are also food supplies available at Triund & Snowline cafe. The stars at night and the moonrise are a treat to watch sitting by the bonfires which are arranged at camps. The camp provided to us was really good and spacious. Overall it was a great trekking experience for all of us.

While browsing through various websites I came across this amazing package and contacted the guys. The price of the package was very decent with the number of days. It was truly an amazing experience for me and my brother. The entire area is inside the Singalila National Park which is a conservation area. This view is seen mainly from the Sandakphu top or from certain points of the trail which starts from Manebhanjan if the sky is clear enough. But the best was when we saw the Mount Kanchenjunga, Sleeping Buddha, Pandim and Mount Everest. Kanchenjangha looks so big from there and best part of the trek was when we saw the beautiful sunrise from Tumling. The road till Sandakphu is full of natures surprise and if you are lucky you can spot some amazing birds. For food and accommodation I would rate 4 out of 5. Brilliantly organized by Heyhimalayas, a huge thanks to you guys for making our trek a memorable one. Upon arriving at NJP train station early in the morning before commencing our car journey to the starting point of our trek we were welcomed with scarves and warm smiles. All the arrangements were very well-organized including transportation, guide, stay and food. Maddy our guide not only kept us safe but also talked through some natural and cultural life of the Himalayas in North East. It was an awesome experience which I would cherish my whole life. We started trekking along the Rhododendron Path into the Yumthang Valley. It is neither tough nor too easy, but this trek is definitely unique and great. Starting from the landrover ride uphill, the short 5 km trek in the steep uphill to the snowfall and the other treks was something that we enjoyed the most. Which other trek offers the view of Mt. Everest and Kanchenjunga at the same time. I along with our group of 5 members had wonderful experience during this trek. All the way to reaching the top the view was amazing. This trek made me to think of conquering Mt. Everest when I saw from the far.
